E30 Zone

when i turn all the electrics on, i.e heating, lights, fogs, radio, heated rear window, idles drop suddenly.

my fan belt needs tightened and squeels a little when i use a lot of electric, just want to confirm that these could be related?

Doubt you'll find a guide fella, pretty sure its just a case of undoing the bottom 2 bolts that hold the alternator on and "Sliding" to the right until you ve got the desired tension, Get ya self out side and ave a look, 2 min of a job.

thot that, cheers.. so what do you think about the electrics?

First signs of failing alternator / brushes or diodes I would guess

get it tested tomorrow then.. get the belt sorted and the breather pipe
