Powerflow all depends on where you get it made. Some outlets are great some are bad news.

For Ԛ£350 you can buy an exhaust which will fit your existing system and probably flow alot better aswell and not be as loud.

For Ԛ£350 you can have Sebring, Mongoose, Scorpion......long list.

Hi, i had a powerflow on my xr3i was awesome system sounds really deep and loud, kind of a boy racer exhaust really though and does get on your nerves a bit on long journeys.

i kept the system when i sold car as i liked the sound and quality of the exhaust.

also had a powerflow on my 320i some years ago, i found it very loud it definately got the looks when driving round, but again motorway cruising/long journeys were not as nice.

my recommended exhaust for a bimmer is a scorpion i have one on my 325i sounds the business and its ok on long journeys

Powerflow can match the type of sound you want. I told them i wanted the sound of a purring loud cat, not a jap style rumble and they got it right. Saying that I know the boss of my local brach on a personal basis, so i guess that helped.

my best mate had his powerflow system done at Top Gear st Albans which is supposed to be the best.

I will let you judge that from these photos:

Yeah most Powerflow exhausts I have seen are made from low quality stainless and all have surface rust..

I have a powerflow on my Sport which I bought s'hand for Ԛ£50 :D and sounds real well great for Diff'n & Drift'n

I have an HKS Super Dragger on my Teg R which is three years old and is still mint..

And I had a Scorpion on a VR6 Corrado and it was still perfect after two years..

Ive just taken a custom powerflow system off a Calibra V6 Im breaking.
Looks just as rusty as the one in Rags photos. Not impressed with it at all, its under a year old but doesnt look it!

my powerflow from my xr3i was on the car for a year and had no rust at all when i took it off, didn`t take much to pollish it up to near new condition

I got one on the M50, well the midbox anyway. It was a lot fatter than the Scorpion and thus scraped on speed humps :(

I didnt have it for long enough to see if it rusted to $h!t but i was disatisfied with their service (St Albans branch), i asked them to save the mid section so i could give it to a friend but instead they cut it out when they coudlnt get it off. If i wanted that id have paid half the price and got them to cut and chop the midbox  :x

Not overly impressed with mine either, didn't fit right at first and it now rattles, and there are some rust spots appearing after only a year! :x

But it was the only exhaust i could afford at the time and does make a nice noise IMO
