BOOTY AT MAX P.

We'll peeps i'm back from Max P. It's been a long weekend as we got there early Thursady and a very expensive one too cause we stayed at the Hilton, where it cost Ԛ£15 for a bacon sandwich and Ԛ£25 for a chiken breast.
The show itself wasn't as big as previous years, and there was the usual batallion of Saxo's and crap like that. There was also a pink Jap looking E30 which i cant even find the words to describe.

, but there were also some truly awsome cars there, including a genuine carbon fibre TVR Tuscan worth over Ԛ£250k

and my mates 5 series which was on the same stand as me running a proven 550bhp and the mentallest interior you've ever seen with a price tag of Ԛ£115k. Ho and a Kicker demo Hummer H2 on 26" rims and 20,000w of pure power. It made you shake when you came within 10 feet of it, so i've asked them to sponsor me with some ICE. On the last day, they gave out 5 awards. The best ICE, best Interior, best car of show, best German car and the best paint.. My mates car walked away with the best German car (Although i along with thousands of others thought he should have got best interior too, but Max is all about the politics) and i walked away with the best paint awards. I was really shocked cause there was cars there with Ԛ£20k paint jobs (Air brushing etc) and i was not too happy with the colour when i picked the car up from the painters, but the lighting in the hall showed the depth of the colour and everyone loved it and i guess that's why i won in the end
I'm not really a Max boy, but to come away from the biggest modded car show of the year with the best paint prize is not bad going. Ho and i dont have any pictures cause i forgot to take my camera with me. I took the charger, my cradel and even my lap-top to download the pictures and i forgot the bloody camera

I just hope others took some pictures of it.

I've been desperatly searching the net for pictures of the show, but i cant't find anything. Hardly a suprize as it only finished yesterday. My mate took a couple as he had no memory left on his camera, so i'll see if i can get him to mail them to me tonight and i can post them up tommorrow or something

Failing that, you have to wait until the weekend to see it at Broklands. I'm meant to take the car back to get mopped properly and i also picked up a chipped door over the weekend, but i might just hold on until after Brookland, incase i dont get her back on time

Thanks guys

The only problem with winning best paint is that there's notb that much you can do with it. Year House of Kolor were falling over themself's when i was presented with the awards (Even the UK director came to see me), but it's my painter that's going to get the most out of it cause from the sound of what they were saying, they want to start sending people to him for spray jobs. I know there also want me on their stand, but i dont want to go that way, as up to now, i've enjoyed the freedom of being able to chooses what shows i do and what stand my car goes on because i've paid for every single thing on my car out of my own pocket. Once you get involved in sposorship with these Companies, then they start dectating to you and i'd hate that. We'll see what happens soon enough i guess

sorry Ben but i dont know where u got the "thousands of others" bit from but from what i heard the M3 that won the best interior was easily the most popular.

Chaos did you take pictures of the 5 series interior? In my openion that was way tricked than the M3 that won the best interior and i'm not just saying that because the car belongs to a friend. If you'd touched the leather, you'd have seen how supple it was. The stiching was also 2nd to none and as for the key board in the steering wheel

The man even had little bottle of shots hidden in the dash with enough ICE to out do Live 8 (Well maybe i'm getting a bit carried away there

) but i was there for 4 days and i know that thousands of others thought it should have won best interior. Besides, he won best German car last year too, by beating Jamie Shaws car. Since then he's spent over Ԛ£20k updating the car and hewas bitterly dissapointed.
Ho well. I'm happy though

very true.
ben- your car does look awesome in the new paint, althouh some shots of it under natural light would show the deepness of the colour much better i think. cant wait to see it at brooklands

Cheers folks. It's funny cause the car still looks quiet orange and light in the pictures, but it looks really dark and deep in the flesh, cause i wasn't sure if i'd done the right thing changing the colour when i picked her up simply because of how dark red it was.
Jon, i was wondering when you were going to hit me with the Zaino bit mate
Mods can you kindly lock this thread please cause i'm about to post a few pics i took quickly lastnight and i dont want too many threads going at the same time. Thanks
