Someone's sprayed the engine bay a nice shade of red.
still to this date BMW have not produced a better car
What?!

I like the sound of Harteg alloys and Bilsutain suspension.
Matches the Racoro seats, and my Rolecks wristwatch.

I cant understand why you would advertise a car that so obviously used to be red and not mention it, sacrilage to paint it and not make a proper job in my opinion.

I wonder if it's been registered as changed or if it comes up on police/etc records as being red.
I mean, if he can't be bothered to mention it on a simple advert...

if he'd written " this car has been repainted" everyone would be saying "no sh1t sherlock, do you think were fooking blind"
only an idiot or indeed a blind man wouldnt notice so its not like its been an intention to decieve.

So you think the description is good? just saying it might be a good idea to raise the issue and explain it. I am on the look out for an Alpina or an M3 but won't be ringing that fella.

No such thing as a cheap M3, it could well end up costing you £1000's to buy a cheap one when a decent one won't cost you much more.

true but a couple of grand will put that right and for what m3's are selling for nowadays that could be a good buy

I think its a Yank import. (Which means the Engine is a lower spec to a 87 Euro car) Judging from the Fan position. Also I don't know if its just the pics, but I can't see AC in the engine bay either.

You know I can never understand the values of M3s. Interesting car certainly, but no where near worth the prices you see on Pistonheads! Especially for some of the shitters you see!

Saying that if someone offered by over £12K for mine, I'd take it. But I'd think they were daft. (mine is not a shitter but its not perfect!)

ETA

I quuite like the Scooby the same trader has for sale. Though I suspect its probably not actually any good. And the guys on Scoobynet would do the same thing we have with the M3.
