just bought one of these, E30 325ix, 2.5 4WD, E Reg with private plates (included in sale), red, 52000 miles from new, 7 previous owners, hartge 16'' alloys, full stainless exhaust system, spotless interior, little bits of rust bubbling around the wings but nowhere else, small hole near accelerator pedal in floor (easy fix), no MOT and no tax, runs smooth. GRIPS VERY WELL
now guess how much i bought it for

You should just about be able to cover the cost (£7.50) of putting some standard mirrors back on her by serving those "things" up on ebay

That car has mold growing on it!!!
Can't see you paying more than £300 (if that) for a moldy car with no tax or mot!
any more pics of the car???

Going of the pic, I would say £300 because the 'for sale' advert is in the window still, was it up for £600 ?

Looks like it was found abandoned, in a forest...
Hopefully should look presentable when cleaned up.
Must say I would love to get my hands on it a give it a full detail.

Who's the dickhead with their head jammed in the rear spoiler?

Badly faded red iX with no TnT, Chavved with mirrors and M3 spoiler. I think you're going to have to sell those Hartges judging by the way the front sticks out beyond the arch.
Did you actually get to test drive it? I hope the front wheels are still driven.
If you got it for £300 then well done you have a fun (and long) project ahead of you
PS, how much for the wheels?

the cars not in a bad state at all, its all preserved under the moss, no rot on the skuttle ect, no dents just the usual on the front arches (only slight) 52k genuine miles damd wish i hadnt missed it

Yes, because moss preserves metal doesnt it
Nah, its not like moss is full of water or anything, nah, water doesnt cause oxidation does it!

Sorry but another bloody poll is getting stupid. Why is everyone doing polls about everything?
Clean the IX then put photographs up and then maybe people will be impressed more.

Sorry to threadjack,
Why did BMW make a 4wd e30? Was it for motorsport or farmers?

Quite, the wheels alone are probably worth what you paid. Good luck with the restoration

thankyou very much, probs wont sell the wheels i fancy restoring it and running it, and i could sell it for more than what i paid right now if i wanted to as its only done 52000 genuine mileage with LOADS of history. cant really complain lol

Yep, certainly looks like the sort of car that should come up a treat with some elbow grease. Nice to have such low mileage too. Any idea why it got left unused for so long?

clean and polish and then post up loads of pics. if it cleans up well and is rust free then you have done well. does look chavy with E36 M3 mirrors and that wing.
BTW is it RHD? I thought these only came in LHD?

Serious oxidization. Judging by those pics it's going to need machine polishing to get that paintwork gleaming again.

yeah, its been converted to RHD, it has power steering aswell

it was standing for a year as the guy who owned it was working in germany and used to come back at weekends, but he's now living in germany and left his wife and kids in england so he said she can sell the car to pay for court costs. oh and yes all 4 drive shafts work in 4WD
