had falken 512s before, thought they were as good as toyo proxies. Great fun in the dry. Not so hot in the wet. Pretty good for a budget tyre.

I had 512s on my daily which were great....nice and cheap but good grip, low road noise etc.

Had 451s on my M3 and will be replacing them in the spring with the new 452s.

I've used 452's before and for a mid-range tyre they are pretty damn good in the dry but so-so in the wet. I'm sure they'd be fine on an e30 and a steal at 30bucks

I've got ZE-512's on my 325i - 205/55/15's. They are great in the dry but understeer in the wet - rears are like new, fronts have about 6mm on them.

Happy overall and they were cheap

Falken tyres are falkin' great

Actually, not bad...I've used ZE512s in the past and they are pretty good...fast wear rate though and a bit squirrely in the wet

Have Falken ZE-512 on the back of my moredoor. They belt up and down the M4 every week, drift the occassional roundabout, and seem to stick pretty well when you want them to. If you treat them in the right way (drive like a pr1ck) then you can easily make the back end step out with them. I wouldn't ever put them on the front of a car but if you're on a budget and don't drive like a complete w@nker, then they represent good value. They'll never be an Eagle F1, but at half the price, who's expecting them to be?!
I would happily put another set on the back of my moordoor when they wear out, but at the current rate, thats going to be a long time - I think im up to 9000miles on them and theres very little wear on them. I used to go through tyres on FWD cars every 12k. The drift-spec rubber on my 1st 325i lasted 28k. I have a feeling the ZE-512 will last about the same but the grip is better.

I have Khumo Ecsta K31 Sports on the front of my moredoor and they offer better grip in wet and dry and are marginally more money, but only about a fiver a corner. Again, not Eagle F1 but they aren't trying to be.
For the cost of the ZE512's, I would reccomend them for the back of the car but not the front.
