Damo - why you selling, I though you loved this car!?

I did notice it on Chris's site a while ago saying "available soon"!

Very nice mate, x2 with the carpets!

It would be an idea to list in the ad more about what was done/fitted to the car by Alpina as well as the engine stats and figures.

Good luck with the sale.

I noticed this last week. I expect Felix79 will be interested, since he has one of about six remaining Sytner C2.5 cars, and this cabriolet is another one of them.

Very nice, interior is not for me though!

As far as best colour combos go in somthing like a convertible, give me a classy contrast, somthing like tan leather against Royal blue metallic coachwork - much more BMW.

It's a nice car, and sounds like a proper m20 too not the usual crap which roams about wheasing out for a service.
Like I say it's a nice car, good luck with the sale Damo.
Would rather have the 320i auto though now thats a "proper" e30 ;)

Are you joking? This is worth every penny. Find me another. I'd buy this tomorrow if I had the money. Dammo knows i wanted this car but I just can't warrant the purchase.

Good luck with the sale guy's. Lets hope it doesn't go to a lottery winning member of the council brigade.

I dont think a council type will waste his money on that car do you.

Saxos are the preferred choice

I thought that this car changed hands for £5000 during the summer! Didnt it?

maybe the car has had extensive mechanical work sorting all the usual E30 problems out and it's ready to go? no issues just drive and enjoy, which can't be said for most E30's

You want to hope I don't come into some money then Trev, I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I had more than £2.54 to my name.

I stand by the comment I have made previously that this is the ultimate non-M E30 in my books. Simply stunning.

So you reckon it may have had 3k worth of work done mechanically,if I were buying, id want to see receipts, if thats the case.... also if it had 3 bags thrown at it recently, surely its worth a mention in the ad...

Also,I thought the thoery, about the money most enthusiasts throw at their cars is not recouped when selling, was shared by most on here. Just makes me wonder whats the likely explanation here.

Let me see, maybe someones trying to make one hell of a drink on it, cant knock someone for trying.....

Lush motor though.

Dameon probably has thrown more than 3k at this. The "likely" explanation is the fact that Dameon likes his cars to be spot on. This guy does not mess about. If there is an area that can be improved? He'll improve it. You couldn't put him further from the 2 bob messr's that come on here and run / modify their car for f*ck all.

Add that to the fact Chris Warburton will only sell the best examples I'd say this was close to bang on the money.

And for those who ain't worked it out yet, Dameon is a Mod on the zone, the author of this thread and the guy that built Barry's (BSS325i) S50 Touring. I doubt he made "one hell of a drink" on that either.
