Hartge M3 breaking

I saw white Hartge M3 with Recaro interior with its roof chopped off for breaking in NSEC Hockley NOT West Hanningfield. Cant believe it, its so rare. Took some pictures on somebody else's phone but forgot to get them off.

Dark Hartge wheels, exhaust, didn't get to look at the engine.

Sorry! its the first site in Hockley http://www.nsec.co.uk/yard1.htm

When you go though the reception on the right theres car headlights on shelf's and a window behind of the room where lots of bikes are kept and the M3. The the Recaro seats are damaged though.

Yeah the whole roof has been removed but the sport evo rear spoiler is still there, they only break cars there. I didn't check if it had a Hartge engine.

The engine must be worth a fair bit, got to be worth putting it into a another shell.

Engine is an M30, if I'm not mistaken, albeit with Hartge bits

Car is a cat B according to the ad, so definitely can't be repaired at all...

Only bits worth saving are the wheels, running gear and perhaps the exhaust... Most of the other bits are trashed!

It is/was one of only 6 Hartge H35 24V's ever made and did use the M88 from the E28 M5/M635CSi.

It was for sale recently on pistonheads for approx £20000!

Such a shame!

Potential reshell though or put it all into a 2dr chrome bumper shell!

This car is well known, and it won't be the first time it's been crashed!

As has been said, was definitely one of 6 ever made, and was for sale with MCP motorsport for 24k about 2 years ago.

It's name was Hetty !
