Hi everyone
can any one help me i got a 325i convertible with the ferrari testarossa kit.
my arch on the back are huge i got big tyres on them 265/40/17 now wen i have 4 or 3 people sitting in da car my arches start scrapeing really badly there scrapeing directly on the centre of the tyre on top.
does any one know of a solution to this, they also scrape when im turning the car to left or right its only the back ones.
i was thinking of geting adjustable air suspensions so i can control the ride height at my own leisure but i dont know where to get them from or how much they are.
can any one give me suggestions thanks

Obvious solution is to put sensible tyres on it!
Why do you need 265mm of rubber on the road with 170bhp?

sounds to me that the wide arches have been put on but the originals havent been removed. normal sized tyres would look lost in the new wider areches.

There was a guy at The Pod this year who had an E30 Cab with air ride suspension. I don't know his name or anything but this was his car...

Thats a pretty nice ride, bar the wheels IMO. They look cool but not really right for the car. Thats me tho. Is that the alpina version of the tech 1 spoiler?
Imys, is your car dirty in your signature?

I think it's the shadows from the tree's when i took that picture, that's probably why it looks dirty but they are shadows and not dirt

I didnt realise a car would pass the MOT if the wheels rubbed on the bodywork.

Its adjustable so he can raise the suspension, i don't think he would be able to drive it with the suspension like that anyway

It looked like u'd managed to get a bit o'mud up the sides. Ye probably just the reflection of a nice and shiney cab (or a really good coverup story

).
I need to wash mine more often. I want to get it spick and span again so i can go somewhere and takes some good photos of it. What d'you reckon? Beach, dunes, Town... ohh, the north coast with cliffs....
I need to make a signature but i cant seem to install photoshop CS4..

Yeah it does look like that but i assure you its not. No hidden stories on mine, i dont think
I spent 2 hours on mine and was mint. I have got a park infront of me so thats not too bad for pictures, nice greenary. Definitely go for the cliffs but make sure you dont park to close to the edge lol.
I just used a normal photo, it doesn't look half bad.

with a wide arch kit, you need a bit more that a 205/55/15 to fill the arches
step 1, jack the car up and see where it is hitting the tyre
then you can go to step 2

I would have to agree with this. There are so many new cars now that are all show and no go though!
You can get a new Audi A4 1.8T S line with 8x18 wheels and 245 width tyres to help it deploy... 120 horses.
