Alarm Costs???

I'm thinking of having an alarm fitted to my wife's 318i as she's struggling to get the doors locked and unlocked with the key at the moment in the dark whilst carrying our daughter.

We don't want anything special, just enough to protect both doors, boot, bonnet, interior and provide remote locking and immobiliser. The car already has central locking BTW.

What sort of price should we be looking at paying for this supplied and fitted? Nothing state of the art, just a reliable budget item.

Thanks

You should not pay more than 120 supplied and fitted...

I have one of these fitted. Had no problems with it so far.

You can get a cheap one from ebay for £30 and could possibly fit it yourself

My missus and I have just started our own business so the spare time to do things like that are a thing of the past right now. :(

Well that seems reasonable enough. Perhaps we could get a deal if we have our works van done as well at the same time.

You could google "gap security"
They do alarms and will fit them at your home/place of work even tesco car park if you ask them to

You can then Google for a decent auto electrician to repair the dodgy installation done by the gap installers.

The alarming and immobilising side of it is the bonus, the bit we're more interested in is the remote locking.
