E30 Cab prices..

Not had an E30 for a couple of years (primarily coz the wife thinks they 'to old') however having been up to Daryll's yesterday for Nats funeral and seeing his cab I've decided I want another one. Had a squizz a egay a moment ago and on the trader and it appears you can get a half decent (from description and pics) cab for about £900.. Is that real ??

I want something to use a daily aswell so what model would you reconmend. Had most things previously in a Tourer styley but not a 320. Worth a look ??

Cheers in advance..

Mike

£900 is a realistic price for useable cab and £1500 should buy you a very decent one!

Hey Ziggy hows it going? Daryll's given me the bug again.. Have been a bit side tracked from e30's over the last couple of years since selling my last white E30 on 'pinas with my VW Camper I imported from Texas and having a blast in our Scooby but now the time is right...

Thought about another tourer until I saw the prices of cabbies... !! 8O

My advice would be to look around and not buy the first one you see, i spent about 6 months looking for mine and was well chuffed. I paid 2k for mine last year but as Ziggy said, the market is down at the moment and with winter coming its definitely a good time to buy, good luck :D :thumb:

The prices I quoted were pretty good! I have a 318i cab on my drive at the mo and with the time of year and the economy you have to really make your cab attractive before someone will buy it!

£1200 for a cat-D?

They can rust there due to one of two reasons.

Movement of the plastc sill protector removing the paint underneath causing the surface to rust or,

if the car has had an O/S rear quarter panel replaced at some point in its life as the is where one of the joins is.
