What an awful turd, probably about a tenner.....

Good find if it is a straight as that. Decent 2 door shells are very desirable, regardless of what it's powered by!

not going to be worth a lot as it's about as undesireable as they get really, however it'll make a nice neat reliable runner for someone to lob another 100k+ on before rust eats it :)

there was a very nice D plate bronzitbeige 2dr chromie in a local garage round here recently, 318i auto, with about 79K on the clock, 3 owners, really tidy original chariot. It had a screen price of £695 and hung about for a bit. I regret not going in with £500.

Josh it is low mileage but nothing on it is desirable.
Hope you got at least a couple of hundred off the asking price.

ok ill be honest i got it for £725 which after looking at it you will realise its a BARGAIN... i know a nice car when i see one and its sooooo clean.. original waxoil everywhere.. engine is soo quite it sounds like a new bmw lmao..
i think if i tried to sell this it could fetch £1300 easy.
my plans are not to sell but if my dad wants it off the drive anytime soon it aint going for a penny less that £1300 lmao.

seriously i feel im in 1988 when i look at it :) :D

i think its worth £1300 because i seen e30's in much worse condtion and more miles and smaller engines go for £1000.

i know its alot for what it is but i aint selling it for a penny less :)

my dads bronze 320 auto sold for £1000 and had twice the mileage... and was no way near as mint.
:)
anyway this is why i think its worth £1300 to the right person

Its a good find, and you've done well. It will be a nice runaround. The spec, however, doesn't do the condition justice. If it were a cab, or 318iS, or something more special, theres still some people with money in Oct 2008 who will pay a premium for a mint car. But not a 318i Auto sadly. Space on peoples drives just don't allow for it. if you need to sell now, get some far better pics, and ask your £1300, but expect to get around £1000 with good luck. Still a nice profit there?

dont mock the lad too much, he certainly has the right idea!!

how much will people pay for a solid 2 door shell for a reshell of a more desirable car when the metal work and panels alone could easily add up to £1500? (not suggesting its worth £1500 btw)

then he is left with all the bits and pieces from a low miler that some originality freak is going to get damp trousers over 8O

besides which bronzit cars with the right touches do look kinda ok in a retro kinda way, suits the chrome bumper cars more though.

This kids gonna go far in the future. mark my words.

Personally I think you have paid a bit OTT BUT don't let this worry you too much. All of us made a few errors when starting out and at the end of the day, you've bought yourself what looks like one of the cleanest e30s out there.

Barry bought his 318 which was a little bit more desirable being red with 14" BBS BUT it had not much else. Why did he buy it? Because it was the very best shell he could find onto which he could transplant the touring running gear. However, and heres the difficult bit! you've got to find someone like Barry.

Personally, I think it would be sacrilige to bastardise this and agree with matt, I can see a few concours bufties trousers tightening in the flies area over this one. I've said it before. In 10/15 years time the whole e30 scene will be different. It will centre more around the show scene and wouldn't it be nice if the lines and lines of convertibles and lachs / red/ black sports is broken up right in the middle with this car!!!

It is an M40 bronzit auto.. It aint worth alot tbh.. Even as a shell donor it is the wrong colour..

You never know, you might get lucky and the right buyer come along...
