Me again .....

Curious to hear from you guys as to what standard of 325i Sport I could expect to get for a budget of up to £3.5 k ??

My search for a Touring is becoming complicated ( ) so I'm wondering if my budget would get me a good coupe or not . Would even consider an auto , provided the rest of the car was top drawer.

look at my response to your last thread I have a manual tech1 sport which may be available to the right person ie someone who is going to look after it it needs a rsparay but will be less than 3k to buy oh and its a really good one not some horrible thrashed slow tech2. pm me for more info.

Hi .... My budget of up to £3.5k is final ( according to her indoors ) therefore an extra £3 k for a first class respray is totally out of the question.

u would get a tdiy respray for about 1200 quid if u did a cash deal! i got pretty much what PND is offering, a tech one sport, 12 months mot some tax full black leather, scorpian exhaust needs minor bodywork and a side painted yours for £2300

I'd get a quote from some known zone bodywork peeps if I were you. If you're anywhere near Sheffield (I think) you might want to have a chat with Beardymat - he has a good reputation.

I paid just under £3K for mine and its pretty damn tidy. Hardly any rust on the shell and lovely paint. So if your looking for a tech1 3.5K will net you a very good one. You wont get a great tech2 for that price

On a personal note , that last line "SEEN THE REST NOW COME SEE THE BEST" really makes me wonder if the ad is legitimate

No mention of mileage or history , so I mailed him about the history , and he replied fairly quickly saying it has a full folder.

Ask him to remove the bodykit and boot lining and send you pictures

i prefer the look of the tec1 sports... plus the engines are tougher so to speak and tend to make factory figures(or just over) when put on the rollers... tec1 ftw!

Tech1's are so much prettier cars, I think the tech 2 kit looks almost too bulky, sort of like the cars gone a bit swollen

£3.5k will get plenty of mtec 2 sport, Thats exactly how much mine was (bought in N.Ireland) and its a 91' black 325i sport with grey leather, 17" alpina reps, a basically rust free body with a full years MOT and a half scorpion stainless steel line.
