it is a 318i lux, i'm a vw golf guy thats my latest project next to it. was wondering where can i get the bigger bumpers for it? for some strange reason it has a front bumper off a newer bmw

also how can i get the wipers on the headlight and how can i fit an "obc" (dad had one in his e30 320i back in the day, used to go ping at 3o mph), any thoughts guys???[/list]

Welcome
bumpers are personal choice, theres plenty of pics on here to help you decide
not sure on the head lamp wipers but you'l be lucky to find some working ones
there was a thread on here in the articles section about retro fitting the obc

The front skirt looks like a replica e36 m-tech one. Definitely not mtech2.
OBC's come up for sale on here every once in a while for around £70

If your car currently has a clock or 6-btn obc, you will need the complete kit including wiring and the indicator stalk, gong and horn to fully install the 13btn obc as well as the unit itself and the surround panel (as the 13btn obc is bigger than the other two fitments).
The bumper itself looks normal...all but the very last cabrios had early (pre-facelift) bumpers, valances and rear panels with the older light clusters.
The bit that is not standard is the splitter and front dam which, as someone said, looks like an E36 or replica...
Your bumper looks like the later ones (non-chrome) and would be the largest standard ones you can get....Obviously you could fit aftermarket ones which may be larger...
The headlamp wipers can be retrofitted...
You'll need the motors (a pair), the relay unit and the outer grills along with the wiper arms. Make sure your motors have the c-shaped bracket attached, btw...
If you want the wash function, you'll need the intensive wash system if it isn't already fitted and the valves and hoses along with the different wiper stalk.

Yours will be the 1.8 m40 engine - best way to get a bit more grunt is to ditch the M40, and drop in a bigger engine!

Hey!
Good luck with the BM, I'm a VW man through and through and have owned 17 VW's in the last few years. Have just got my first e30, refreshingly different, but i do miss my MK2 (1991)golf GTI.
