I had a set of Lassa Impetus II on my MiM's (I know, I'd never heard of them either!).
I recently had to change the 2 on the rear and bought Uniroyal Rallye 550. I wish I hadn't now. The back-end feels very twitchy and loose. They haven't actually let go yet, but they don't inspire confidence in me.
I think I'm going to replace them with Toyo's - they seem to be the tyre of choice here.
I actually might even have another set of the Lassa's, they seemed to have good grip in the dry and reasonable in the wet. I got over 40k miles out of them too! :D

Admiral's on the rear, made by kuhmo.

I had a puncture so fitted the spare and was mildly impressed to see a new Pirelli P6000 on there..... its crap the cheapo admiral has much more grip 8O

Champiro (a Goodyear subsiduary) 205/55/15. Done about 3000 kilometres, very satisfied with the roadholding even on our slippery roads here, low noise too

280 Euros for 4 fitted and balanced.

tyre size on 15's MUST be 205/50/15 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO but they have to be.

toyo's are good and i will be buying....of soem eagle f1's but my las set of tyres cost £30 a pop and made me laugh everytime  not advised though...scary in the wet when you were not ready for it!

I run 205/50 and my speedo is pure guesswork now. 205/55 is the stock size.

Toyo R888 incedentally.

look like big old ballons!!!!!!!!!

speedo's are out enough anyway so who cares. my 325i never had a speedo, i used a mates sat nav just to figure out revs to speed and that was it.

you will feel less tyre flex and body role due to the smaller tyre wall. drives much better around the corners

Entirely placebo effect. I defy anyone this side of a professional tyre test driver to notice any difference between 50 and 55 profile tyres in a proper "blind" test.

i beg to differ old boy.

if anything they look worse but you can feel the difference IMO. 55 might have been stock back in 1983 when they came out but they couldnt be doing that now. well they could but i would want 50's everyday.

personal preference i guess.

Wrong profile and higher revs if using correct wheel size. I have 205/50/15 on the volvo and it's made it bad on the mpg and revs higher. However they are toyo t1r on all 4 wheels so it's super grippy :-)

Another vote for Dunlop SP9000 here.
205/55/15

Enduro 659s If anyone knows of a worse tyre short of cross plys I'd love to know. Dry performance dubious, wet performance lethal :(. On the upside; wet performance is lethal :)

my camacs have got to beat your enduro's. but isnt there a part of you that doesnt want to change em for the fun in the wet?
