Just wondered if anyone has seen the nice looking calypso red motorsport cab for sale at Hillingdon motor company, it's priced at £5,995, must have been for sale for at least a year. Is there something dodgy about it? Cheers.

looking a nice car and being one are 2 totally different things. What gets my back up is good zoners offering sound advice so people don't get their fingers burnt buying a 6 grand shed. And you come out with this tripe
prove us wrong and buy it and tell the world about the dream sale and service you had from these guys because you'll be the only one

That cab has been on autotrader for longer than a year.... way before i bought mine.. it was the one of my favourites... but never went to see it as it was an auto....
I say you go up there and see it for yourself if your interested...! Youve got nothing to lose... but seeing it hasnt shifted yet... doesnt look promising!

as was said before i bought it off a local dealer called classy chassis they had previously sold the car a few years earlier and the guy traded it back in i bought it with a full mot a new exhaust and a new radiator it had a new set of michelin tyres on it cause the guy worked for them. it was a tidy car not mint but honest no sign of any accidents original wings on the front a full service history some mots and receipts. i just bought it and drove it for a bit until i found what i was after (an ac schnitzer m3 at the time) i had a really good valeter on the car who transformed the interior and brought the paintwork and engine up really well. i sold it to a couple from dudley and it was to be her car it didn't have all the m badges and seat pins then either. hope this helps

Not really simon, i was just trying to bring out both sides of the story, so wigsworld could make the best decision.

Cheers guys, it is very suspicious it's been for sale for so long must be something wrong with it. Motorsports usually sell really quickly.

I live around the corner, been to see it.... not really worth the money they want for it, i love them in this colour combo, but the lotus white interior is mullered, connollising will only kind of sort it out for the short term... will need an expensive retrim to put right.... Also the paint is tired in places I recollect... I suppose its alright for the age, but by factoring in the cost to put it all right, its easy to see why its still for sale.

So it's not too bad then, you can see from the pics that the leather isn't perfect, if it was a couple of grand cheaper it might be worth it.

I went to view the car about 3 months ago. It looks really good in the photos but I was sooooo disapointed. The leather interior looks like its been covered in that "white" stuff my mum used to apply to my trainers with when I was four years old. Not worth the money they are asking for in my opinion. The paint work doesn't look all that either. I got a tidy Macua Blue H plater with 100k for half what they are asking...
I have seen an identical calipso red motorsport floating around Amersham (where I work) driven by some 'Old Dear'. I managed to follow her til she stopped at a Tesco local and gave her my number incase she wanted to sell it. She said she would call but i'm still waiting. It was immaculate....

If only there were a few more 'old dears' floating about in rare desireable E30's waiting to be snapped up!
