Sorry no photos on the advert. I've never heard of this conversion, can anybody shed a little light?

Just remembered that 78dude posted really boring pictures of the factory in Sweden, so I assume it's the Swedish Hartge/Alpina?

I like it very

in an 80's kind of way.

would be better without the 80's rear spoiler/wing joint arrangement. you can almost guarantee the front spoiler/bumper is going to be of the very finest max power variety too.

Some pictures were posted a few weeks back, and I can confirm that the front end is indeed vomit inducing

I saw what they did to the M3 cab, some pretty dodgy styling, huge scoops etc.
So the Koenig conversions are purely bodywork and nothing else?

Pacerpete had a konig 325 with a 2.7 turbo conversion along with the vommit inducing bodykit a few year back iirc

Isnt that just a saloon with a silly kit.
It doesn't even have a 5 stud conversion?.
Not very impressed, I was expecting the wow factor.

It may well be a saloon, guess more info is needed from the seller. The picture I found may or may not be a M3, I'm just curious to figure out what 1 of 5 made means and what a Koenig m3 for 20k is.
To be clear the picture I posted is just a random google image search and nothing to do with the ad.

The company usually kitted out the engine and chassis when they did the conversion, anyone remember the e31 that got sold a while back, featured in PBMW and it was at Gaydon last year?
There wasn't many Koenig conversions about for any car, they were expensive and excessive cars, very smart in the 80's, but obviously they don't look so attractive now, the kind of car someone who likes rare models may like. I don't really think you would have one to run as a daily motor.

£25,000! Some 80's solvent abuse needed to buy that!

I take you are refering to the first car pictured in the thread? That is not the car the original poster is refering to.
If you click the piston heads link in the first post then you will clearly see that is is an M3 bastardised with a konig kit. Raised boot and extended roof and all.
