Nice one Blitz - I did look on fleabay but didnt come up with that. I've asked a question as there are apparantly a number of different heads for the 325i

Been quoted £420 just for the head!! I cant do that I'd rather buy another car

The only 325i M20 head is the 885. It alledgedly changed it's design slightly during its production run, but nothing of any significance.

we have a 2.5 head available can post anywhere for £20-00, head itself we can do for £100-00 or £115-00 delivered if it is any help to you, came off a 1987 325i sport

Thanks - brian, yep I was getting confuggled with the m20 engine - there are different heads for the different models but only one for the 325. Just waiting on the garage, mixed messages - they are talking about a seized rocker shaft now.....? BSS325 thats a nice shiney head you got there!

Stick it in the open for half an hour, At 200 degrees it'll just fall out.

there are low compression cylinder heads and high compression ones. be carefull when you buy, check where the valves seat into the head, if its domed for the pistons or if its just flat.
