Very nice cab. Lovely colour too. What colour is it? You must be as happy as Larry that you've got it back and are able to drive it around in the sunshine we have been getting of lately, well Sunday and today

No lizzie, everytime I come back from work it's either raining or i'm too knackered to go out in it.You might remember this from a few years ago

That's a shame Rav. Well I hope that after all the hard work that you have done with her, she would allow you time to have fun in the sun. Let's hope that before our summer ends (what summer you maybe asking?) you will get time to drive her topless in the sun and with you not being too knackered. Enjoy her whilst the sun is out.

If it's not raining, the roof should be down!! Get out and enjoy it!
I used to enjoy late night drives with the roof down, especially when you can see the stars. Awesome!

I just love driving with the roof down, whatever the weather. A spot of rain never bothered me that much either. I was driving too fast to care.
Love convertibles!! Even if they are supposed to be for hairdressers. :winkeye: :winkeye:

I don't care what people think of convertibles. I just think they are jealous. I still love my convertible. I don't pay attention to other people's comments. The only comment I take notice of, is mine and only mine.

isn't there a myth that if you drive fast enough you can't feel the rain or is that true?
either way the car looks sweet, even better in the flesh

Yes, not tried it in my E30 but in sports car 2 seaters you can drive through rain with it being swept over the top and not really get wet. Works as long as you are going fairly fast, say 50 plus. On one car the rain got swept back and hit the inside of the windscreen. Which meant you couldn't see where you were going (the wipers being on the wrong side).

I had to do it as I was on the M25 and I was late to pick up a friend from Gatwick. Didn't feel a spot of rain on me or the car, except on the windscreen and then I had Rain-X on the windscreen and so I didn't need to use my windscreen wipers.
I must admit it was in March and it was sunny at times and then it rained, so the temperature was quite high.

When I had an MX-5 I use to put the roof down so I could fit in!
I am not soon keen on having the roof down on my cab untill I got it 100% compleat.
