Car Cover that can go on even a wet car!!

I think it was Trussar (sp?) that I met at the ACE Cafe last month that I mentioned about the car cover that I have that is excellent and can be used even on a car that is wet.
I got it from Classic Additions Limited and if you mention Lizzie, from E30zone you will get a good discount not only on E30's but other cars as well as wind deflectors too.
Here is their website
http://www.classicadditions.com/index.php
I've had covers for my E30 and my dad's E32 and I can say that they are excellent. They are well made and do the job perfectly. I don't know of any other car cover that can go directly onto a wet car.
BTW I have no affiliation with the company, just organised a deal with them on behalf of the E30zone.
Let me know if anyone is interested. I can always bring the cover down to the next Bimmerflex meet on Sunday 13 July.

I have one for the Sport Evo. It's an indoor one and is made top fit the car, with a fleece linning and I have to say that it is a quality product. I have had it for about 3 years and is still fresh as the day I bought it

Hi Gary
Remember me - it's Lizzie!! How are you doing? Are you still in Scotland - that's if I have the correct Gary!!
The covers are brilliant. The customer service is brilliant too. The guy that runs it was only too pleased to offer the E30zone a discount. He didn't have to, but he thought that the E30zone were good and was only too pleased to help out.

Without looking at the site Lizzie, are these covers weatherproof or are they effectively just dust covers for garage use only?
Cheers

I've got a lightweight breathable car cover and the lightweight breathable car covers are ideal for cars in regular use that are kept outside or partially covered. As the car cover is fully breathable the cover may be used inside or outside. The lightweight fabric provides the perfect combination of a weather resistant car cover which allows any existing water on the car to evaporate through the fabric. Each car cover comes with three straps as standard for extra security. May be used with a cable lock.
Deters vandalism.
Protects against frost, snow, tree sap and birds.
Gives UV protection.
Protects against knocks and scratches.
Car can be wet when fitting cover.
Can be used indoors.
Fully breathable.
All car covers come with storage bags
This car cover was awarded best budget buy by Practical Classics.
I swear by mine. I've had it on when it has rained, been frosty and even snowed. I thought it was so good, I bought my dad one for his old 7 series E32.
I don't have a garage, so this is the best alternative. I've not come across any better one for the price.

Hi Paul
It's good to hear from you again. It has certainly been a while since I've been on here. Joined back a week or so ago and have had a great welcome back. I hope that you are well. I'm going to try and make some meets this year. The next one being at Bimmeflex on Sunday 13th July, of course!!
Felix79 - you can't go wrong with one of these covers. I love mine. The only drawback I have is that when I have washed and polished my car. I have fun putting the cover on. It is too slippery and my neighbours have a great time laughing at me watching it sliding everywhere, but really this isn't a problem. I just make sure that I put one side under the windscreen wiper at first, to keep it there, and then I adjust it so ,as necessary.

I'm in two minds about going to Gaydon. I'm going to make up my mind nearer the time.
I hope you got some sunshine today. We in the South did and I even caught the sun, so I'm not that blue white colour anymore!! LOL Good to hear from you. Still got that lovely M3 that you have as an avatar? Beautiful M3

What is the inside like? is it lined? what sort of material is it?
Is it possible it could mar the paint?

The inside is the same as the outside, it can be used either way. I don't know what kind of material, but it will certainly not damage or mar the paint in any way.

You can always given them a call on 01938 561717. They are only too pleased to help out anyone from the e30zone.
