Hi people

looking to buy some alloys in the future, when i got the cash really. wanted to keep my car as original as possible, but the steel wheels have to go!! My first though was to find a set of original bbs alloys and keep it original but then i saw these Borbet A's and think they look wicked..... has anyone else got them on there motor too? Seen a few pics on the internet and they look good on the e30. Or should i stick with the original bbs as my car is only a 1984 320 and dont want it to look stupid with big deep dish wheels??? :? :?

Rears might need arch mods with the 9's the 7.5's would fit fine. But ultra cool would be 9 at the rear 7.5 at the front.

Well the wheels are still a bit of a wait... cars going for a spray first, can get them to widen the rear arches then? I see your in bournemouth? can you recommend any decent spray shops? Got a mate who does it and was going to offer him the work private but would be good to know some others? :?

TBH I don't know anyone round here, cheap anyway. My old escort was done by malvern road accident repair guys in Charminster and the job was 100% but they arn't the sort to take on custom work unless your money is right.

No harm in asking I suppose though.

You would be better off at least buying and fitting the rears before hand so they could make them fit, rather than guess at what needed doing. Or do it after and risk damaging the paint..

guess it would be worth getting them fitted first so not to damage paint work thanks........ shedrool83 they look stunning on your motor... nice car

I'm running 9s on the rear and 7.5 on the front. Just have rolled arches on the rear and stretched tyres but really could do with having the rear arches pulled instead. But I love the look- shame I've had a couple of 'incidences' with kerbs that have mashed the rims but that is the risk you run with stretched rubber :(

Period wheels suit the E30. like Borbet A's and Atev's.

Modern wheels do work for me for some reason, some have made them work though, try them and seen.
