get it featured (again?) and make them mention that its for sale. eGay wont get u what its worth, as they are all messers, and you are really after a specialist buyer for that bit of kit1
what sort of figures does it run dale?

Dale, do not sell it, you will get nowhere near what you've spent on it in my opinion, we all know people won't pay good money for modded cars, as has been said, put it away somewhere or something...that's just too much money to throw away!

oh no!
lol @ got to grow up, i bet it's the bike that's done it ain't it
and i never got a ride in it!
seriously though, if you sold it you're probably only gonna get maybe Ԛ£8k, possibly Ԛ£10k at a big big stretch for it

even though you have spent so much...

I wouldnt sell a car like that, I'd keep it in my garage forever and only take it out when the weather is good.
Any pics of it? The only ones Ive seen were when it was in Practical Performance Car mag.

dale.......... no way mate, i know you might be strapped or something (*cough* under the thumb *cough)
but the amount of time and effort you have put in to that and then you want to sell it to some fek who will probably stick it in to a wall, it's just not right,
and like you say your 40 now, and does'nt life begin then?????

So Dale, you have a baby on the way, what is the advantage of selling your hot rod?

No way!
Dont sell it Dale.
I know youve spent Ԛ£15000 but your likely on get just a bit more than sport money for it.
Suppose you sold it for say Ԛ£6000-Ԛ£8000............it would cost you more than that to build just the enigne with the TB's, 2.7 MBE..........bla bla bla.
Are you selling it because you feel the ned to grow up? I have 2 kids and I've just started pissing about with cars.
Your car is highly indiviudal and youve done too much work to it to ever sell it. No way, dont do it.
Its also had alot of work that is very specialist, not alot of people will apprecite something like MBE, as far as most are concerned it will be "chipped".
If your adamant to sell iot then remove the Dbilas and MBE etc because you wont get any more money for it for having those and sell those separatley as they will surely bring in Ԛ£2000 on their own.
Oh and lastly, if you car is making 220+ bhp (which it should be) then you have the same power to weight ratio as an M3.
Finally.......NOOOOOOOOOOO............Dont sell!!!

Karan,
you'll need the MBE aswell or some other stand alone management for it to work properly.

it'll work fine with unichip wont it..... if not i could get that cheap emerald one to do the trick.....
shit im being a bit greedy.... but would be nice to know how much more beans it would give my lump.....maybe 230 plus then.... that would be nice

You really need a 288/288 cam to warrant having throttle bodies and the cheapo emerald will still end up costing a small fortune.
Stick with your 210 odd BHP, its enough. Your going to have 300bhp soon so stop being greedy!

yeh but throttle bodies look so cool..... and my engine bay will look awesome with those and the 6 branch
284/272 can't be that different

288/288 is very different to a 284/272.
Yes it would look good with throttle bodies but your engine would drive veru differently as to how it does now.
Youd get much more linear power delivery and peak power would be pushed up the rev range. Youd also get less peak torque than you have now but it would be spread more evenly.
Will sound amazing aswell.
If you want some I can get some for you Karan. Even with a 288/288 cam the idle will be roughly the same as it is now with yours. It will have one awsome top end power delivery.
