Will it help or cause more harm than good?

Look like one of these super magic stuff you can put in the fuel of your car and it does miracles... Well you can try it out and see if it works but dont blame me if your engine isnt the same in a negative way after you have done it.

I would maybe give it a try on a Datsun but not on my lovely Beemer!

If you want some thing similar(bar the oil treatment/snake oil) then use redX

Im just curious more than anything.

i vote for redex too Jake..good gear, smoothed the sport out no end on idle and felt a bit more "perky" in the mid range. as to the seafoam...sounds too good to be true to me but i hope someone proves me wrong

Know what you mean Gray it does sound to good to be true and reading through some threads there is mixed opinions.

read up on this on e30tech loads of people are using it and its getting VERY good ratings. too scared to use it myself

I might give it ago before the cab gets a 325 engine but it will be awhile before it gets done.

i have read alot on the stuff noe an i have come to the aconclusion that its bunk. Dont add it to oil as you dont want to mess with the mix of oil e.g viscosity. and the other part which is putting it through the throttlw id just relating to cleaning injectors.

I wouldnt do it. I would spend £100 on having a set of injectros ultrasonically cleaned by bosch...that is the safe option and has all the same effects e.g smoother idle ,more responsive, better fuel economy, more power etc etc.
