Hi,
Just bought a e30 bmw touring yesterday. Car is in good nick but could do with a service and cambelt change. Does anyone know any good BMW specialists around Central Scotland that I could use to do the work?
Cheers,
Peter

If you're over Edinburgh way, I'm sure I could help you do the service. Is the car a 6cyl or a 4pot?

I used the M3 motor company recently and they did a fine job on the E46 I'm now selling. They are specialists based just outside Bathgate and the guys seem to be real enthusiasts.
I'll be using them for the E30 cab coming my way in the next couple of days
Details pasted below
M3 Motor Co
BMW Specialists providing highly personalised garage services to their West Lothian customers from their Bathgate premises. Mossbank Cottage
A89 Caputhall
Bathgate
West Lothian

this guy is also my recommendation. just a small place that you probably wont even notice from the road as its workshop is based behind the guys cottage with no signage visable.
he has an m52 powered ford flatbed recovery truck and an m3 powered e36 compact as toys.....

Thanks for the replies.
I live in Stirling and work in Edinburgh so looks like M3 Motor Company might be a good shout as they are fairly local. The touring I have bought is just a piddly 316i but it is only for commuting back and forward to work and chucking my mountain bike in.

Definitely don't need the stamp in my service book - how do I contact JBH, just drop him a PM?
Buzz - stay in Bannockburn so will keep an eye out for you. There are 2 other e30s locally (325i's), one up my street and one sits outside Gorman's now and again (is for sale).
