Advice on DeChroming

I really want to dechrome my beast but am unsire how to go about doing this. Do I just spray over the chrome or do I replace it ?? Sorry if I sound a bit blonde but this is all a bit new to me !!

Also need some pop out windows for the same 1989 E30

It can be done both ways, If you do a search on here for De-Chroming there's a thread from when I asked a while back with lot's of suggestions and links.

He has a complete dechrome set.. Collection only though from Cowdenbeth Scotland

Make a weekend of it!!!

I collected 3 Alpina reps from him last weekend and nice guy to deal with.. :thumb:

fareham eh? keep a lookout at silverlake - they'll have a dechrome e30 sonner or later, there's usually a couple of decent breakers there that yield useful parts. might pop over myself in the next couple of days.

also try howards on hayling island. they break them themselves and list all parts on a database - hence they can tell you if it's there on the phone.

also try e-tech motorsport in havant, they always have a load of parts.

how about gettin some black graphics tape,and just tape the chrome,looks a treat ,and lasts
