e30 325i coilovers

Been looking into some coilover kits for my 1990 e30 325i sport. So I wanted originally H&R adjustables. Ordered them up to get a call about two days later form the company I bought them from telling me I'dhave do send them my front shock stripped down before I can get my coilovers. I use the car not as a daily drive but still I need something to bolt on before I take anything off. Been looking around everywhere, a friend reccomended FK Konigsport kit, called a few places that "supposeably" sell them and all I get is either, they don't deal with them anymore too many waiting, no idea what really I want, or they'll get back to me and never call back.
This is annoying me now I have the money ready to buy a good coilover kit and I can't seem to buy one. I don't mind sending my old shocks off it's just I need the coilovers to bolt on first.

So my question being; where can i buy a set of good coilovers from that don't require me to send off my old stuff before I get the coilovers? What has everyone on here who has coilovers had to do? Any websites people can direct me to? I deally I want either bilstein, FK or H&R good quality coilovers that will allow me to run 65mm ride height front and back and some good handeling.

Thanks
Marc

i think all coilovers for the e30 require exchange of struts due to the design of the front strut im afraid..

whereabouts are you? buy some cheap front legs just for it to sit on whilst they are done

i'm not bothered on the money side I just want them to perform right. Last thing I want is I buy some cheaper ones and dislike them and end up spending wayy more and gettin the expensive ones in the first place.

not sure if you can for an e30.. it would require the manufacturer to buy up stocks of 51mm struts..

FK Konigsports are absolutley brilliant! I have them on my G40 and are superb. The inserts are Koni. There the same situation as E30's, have to send your struts off.

If money isnt an object, put a wanted post up for a set of 51mm front housings and send them off...

Hey presto 9 weeks later you gorgeous new coilovers will arrive :D

Manufacturers simply dont have the housing laying around :?

hmm found a solution, company I'm getting the coilovers from have sed I can have the coilovers with a 500 surplus charge, soon as they recieve my old front struts I'll get my money refunded. Sorta lyk insurance for them, now it's either jus FK or H&R. Think it's possibly gonna be at least a week or more before they come in stock.
