Hi Zoners,
Please can you keep a look out for my Diamond Black E30 325i Sport, registration F38 FNW, which was stolen after being parked in Herne Bay, Kent sometime after Bank Holiday Monday evening

Image
Image
Distinguishing 'features' are a badly painted bootlid with no badges, BBS centre caps missing, and an unusual Silver-grey leather interior with chrome gearlever surround and handbrake handle.

Chassis number is WBAAA12090AE52429, Engine number 20564545.

If there are any sightings or rumours of its wherabouts, please let me know, either by PM or on 07761 771956, or tip off Herne Bay police on 01227 762055.

Thanks,

My eyes are fecking wide open mate! I'm up the road in Canterbury and will keep an eye out on the road. Also on ebay for parts locally!

Herne Bay seems to be full of nasty druggie bastaards at the moment and I wonder what they would do with it.

Very determined to help out here

Did you have an alarm or anything (sorry just curious)?

Where in Herne Bay EXACTLY did you park it? If you don't mind saying. I know a few people over there who have lived there since God was a boy so they may know some useful info on where stolen cars end up.

Hi mate im just up the road in Sittingbourne and will keep eyes open! It would probably be well worth you going to your local scrap merchants and leaving some details there as chances are the car could end up at one... also have a good look around the countryside/shitty areas/gypsy areas where it could end up dumped. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Cheers doc & Toby,
Only owned it since February, and was working on getting its issues sorted - so far, new cambelt, waterpump, handbrake shoes, just renewed the tax and insurance with a new company too, so I doubt they're going to be impressed

Thanks j3nks79, much appreciated.

Flappysocks, yes it's a right bummer alright, who knows where it will end up and what will happen to it. After all the work we've collectively put into it too :(

E-mails working fine AFAIK.

I've spread the word around Birchington (where my family are) so if a car like that drives along the Canterbury Road it should get noticed. Have you phoned Reclamet or the Universal Salvage Auctions to see if it's made an appearance there?

Thanks for the comments peeps. It is a grim thing to happen, not to mention inconvenient.

I e-mailed the details to Reclamet earlier today and toured around some likely haunts locally including a gypo encampment  , but no sign of her as yet. It's the first car I've had stolen in some 20 years of driving so that's good going I suppose, but goes to show the popularity of the E30 - beef up your security folks!

The only saving grace is there was hardly any fuel in the tank. Is it possible to reclaim the tax without the tax disc?

Gutted for you Maurice and fingers crossed it turns up soon
Maybe out of order saying this but lets hope its not one of the 26k members on here who has nicked it to strip of its goodies :?

Good luck mate!
