Rare E30 Items
Moderator: martauto
You might be able to buy an extinguisher but I dont think you can by one with the E30 seat mounts.Royalratch wrote:A lot of these things aren't rare because you can still get them at dealers. Illuminated gearkobs, MTEC steering wheels, Extinguishers etc...
I paid £50 for one, they were only £47 new

How about a set of Hartge stripesRoyalratch wrote: They may be expensive and they may have been scarcely fitted at the time but who's got some real rare shit that you can't get for love nor money?

I corresponded with Maya Hartge for months pestering her for a set, she had the guys in Germany search the factory and turned up the last two sets. I missed her email so she chucked them on ebay. Both sets went to E30Zone members.
Thats it no more available, is that rare enough?

Well your a lucky sod. what cars did you scrap? its because on 325i tourings when they come to get wishbone changes 99% of owners dont want to pay 230 quid each corner for a new wishbone so they pay 30 pound for a steel one. Also, new ball joints cant be pressed in to the alloy wishbones withought damaging and rendering the material useless. M3s have them but how often do you see one of them being broken?gazza wrote:dan318is why are the alloy wishbones rare i have 3 e30s and they all have them i even scrapped a car last week that had them (did keep them though)
