An early chrome bumper car suits them as they are a retro looking wheel even a facelift thats uber mint can pull it off, bottle tops on tourings look shit as tourings need a 15" wheel imo and they look wrong. Yes 15" BBS are a better wheel no doubt about it but i would rather have bottle tops over a lot of aftermarket scrap.bss325i wrote:I was refering to Alex and Imy.jaymos wrote:calm down, calm downbss325i wrote:To many people sitting on the fence saying "they only look cool when slammed" or "only on a totaly orginal car"
What about the rest of the time?! They are shit right? So your vote should be no not yes!![]()
my car is original so they look cool, so the vote should be yes!
Not really sitting on fence, thats my opinion on them. A bit like 14" BBS would look wrong on an early chrome bumper car as they were a later spec thing. digital clocks look wrong in facelift cars etc etc
everyone is different, just because you dont like them does not mean other people dont.
14" BBS were were available from '86 and were the first wheels on tech 1 sports so available on metal bumper cars.Alex wrote: Not really sitting on fence, thats my opinion on them. BBS cross spoke what ever size are a retro wheel and suit chrome turds just like any BBS cross spoke.
Facelift cars had digital clocks, 6 button OBC. You analogy was lame.
Dan that doesnt look that bad although they were fitted with ballons wern't they?
Come on people you only have bottle top's if you cant afford 15" BBS.

Yes but its lame to say a digital clock doesnt "suit" a later car.Alex wrote:Thats why i said early chrome bumper carsbss325i wrote:14" BBS were were available from '86 and were the first wheels on tech 1 sports so available on metal bumper cars.Alex wrote: Not really sitting on fence, thats my opinion on them. Counting drivel? Shouldnt you be CC'ing it?
I came to the conclusion Alpina's are a bit boring, all the uneducated bruvs want them as thats all they know, the BK scrap does them no favours either, another downside is the size of brakes you cant get under them, and they are a cu*t to clean
Hartge's FTW
