My car has undergone a bit of de-counciling. I took off the eyebrows, the nasty white dials and the horrible DTM mirrors.
To be honest it's only the kit, the spoiler and possibly the wheels which make it council really. Inside is very oem apart from the floor mats.
Here it is in full council glory as I bought it..
And a more recent one...

Its got an old skool euro look.
I think we are very much in a minority.

I'm not sure what sort of look it is but I like it and it's me that drives it/keeps it alive.

Picture a BIG country house with big gates and and E30 parked by the door next to an Aston.
Now , Does it 1) belong to the Aston owner as he has a soft spot for E30s? Or 2) is it his cleaner or maybe his daughters chav boyfreind?
If you saw Fi's, mine or ghekos you would assume no 2.
If it was BSS's car simon 13's 2 door or ratch's I.S you would assume no 1.
What im getting at is only OEM is posh, question is- are you shagging a milionairs daughter?

I've uprated the brakes, only changing the front pads for greens or similar,
I've uprated my brakes with x-drilled and grooved discs (I'm guilty of that one in the past),
I cut my springs and it handles so well now
My car does 10mpg more than the book ever said it could

Can anyone suggest how to test if the boot lights are staying on with the boot shut?

Sorry Gheko but I hate the e36 M3 wheels just as much as you hate me mentioning the "A" word.
I've always found shopping lists rather council , or any car that could be on "The Fast and Furious"

Lets face it, most of us have a bit of council on our cars one way or another, I know mine ticks most of the boxes on the council list

Only council item in my E30 is the CD player - an Aldi special I believe - fitted by the previous owner not me
I do have an E36 on my drive though.....I guess that makes me automatically council
