Baurs are light too, none of the reinforcement along the sills as with normal cabbies. Ideal for a little 4 pot.
Not in E30s any more :(

I always felt my ols cab had plenty of go in her but compaired to my Alpina it felt very slugish on the accleration and AJ_Macky and I were both driving together him in his IS and I was in the cab and the IS was able to give the cab a run for it's money in all fairness.
Thats because the cab weighs a tonne, cabbies are for cruising, iSs are for reversing global warming.
Lol thats retty much what i said at the begining...

Nice car. Soz magie, i was using a different computer yesterday and thought you just repeated yourself (no pictures showed up, probs just hadn't loaded). lol. Obviously not. Nice cars atucally. So a baur is essentially a normal E30 with a softop and normal windows (well, mainly. Obvioulsy theres more detailed differences..) but they're nice. I need to spend more time lookin at convertable beems to see if they're baurs, but dont think there would be many over here.

But they put an s14 in them though! That's what I find odd they put one type of "Hot" engine in but not the other , then I guess not much point when you have a m3 option or 325i option the IS would be a pointless choice.
They never put an s14 into a standard E30 (well, 320iS...), and neither with the cabby. They but the S14 into the M3 and the M3 cabby (which is still different to your normal cabby). TBH, i've not heard much good from M3 cabbys, other than the fact you own one. Nice cars, but apparently can be pigs to drive.
