Still in the 25 to 30's bracket for another 18 months!! Woo hoo!!!
My e30 is my second BMW. Had it just over 3 years now. They reckon the average time a person keeps a car is 2.5 to 3 years. Can't see me selling mine!! Maybe putting a bigger engine in it but not selling it!!!

Oooh no! Sorry mate, but we have to save you before you go down the dreaded 'Corsa' road... get a 316i, insure it, then drop something better in it (but forget to tell the insurance...)maxfield wrote: then a corsa for my 17th or sumat like that.

You'd be looking at around a bag under your Dad's name if he's got decent NCB.maxfield wrote:Yeah but dont forget insurance will still be fairly expensaive for a 1.6 wont itgaryp_E30_325i wrote:Oooh no! You would need to insure an M3 in your own name though and for that you need your own NCB

Still a few years yet. I wnat something with a 1.2 or something. then its cheap insurance.Zayyan wrote: You'd be looking at around a bag under your Dad's name if he's got decent NCB.

Eh? Why? I'm sure there are lots of kids on here insuring under one of their parents' names. I know bmwe30mtech does, as do I.
Only catch is they have to do more miles than you, but if you have a pair of legs, and a bicycle, it's hardly a hassle being without a car for a couple of days a week.
