My brother wants to buy a car and wants to know what this is. Please ignore the seat covers and gear knob, they are easy fixes. Was the 325i (or 325is) available in european spec in australia in 1987? Could this be a 325e (even though the taco reads up to 7000)? It can't be a 323i if its from 1987 can it?

Thanks

Just a boggo 325i I'm afraid. Does have an M-Tech 1 Kit on it, but it's not an iS (the same spec as a European Sport)

Judging by the engine bay picture it looks like a regular 325i. Certainly not the 325e as the inlet manifold would be different.
