AFAIK, the ETA has a different head with narrow ports and only 4 camshaft bearings (which makes it too weak to rev high), so you'd need a 325i head to raise the power output significantly.mrLEE30 wrote:nice car, i beleive the engine is the ETA engine as used by our American cousins, it is basically a 2.5 with a longer stroke, if you change the cam, throttle body (i think) and change the ECU chip for a zone one they will make close to 180-200hp as opposed to the standard 140ish, these engines were designed to be more tourquey and more fuel efficient and thus they were a bigger capacity but detuned.

Just so, that's the spec on mine.Speedtouch wrote:AFAIK, the ETA has a different head with narrow ports and only 4 camshaft bearings (which makes it too weak to rev high), so you'd need a 325i head to raise the power output significantly.

Personally I think silver would compliment the car, where as gold would detract from the car itself. Just my opinion of course325e wrote:Andy325i wrote:Very nice choice of wheel (better without the gold imo) and that black car seriously needs dropping![]()
