I found a light rear damage 320i auto 1989 90k miler for £180. Does anyone know how economic these 320i's are compared to a 1.6 Stilo or Golf?

low to mid 20's if driven with care on mixed urban/M-way

never found golfs to be any better, probably the same for the stylo

between 28 and 30 mpg if you drive relatively gently - I can get 300+ miles to a 55l tank :D

Cane the a**e off it and you will become very friendly with your local petrol stations :(

1.6 golf will be better on fuel if it's manual as will stylo. Realistically mid twenties from a 320 auto much the nicer car to drive of the three though.
