After getting my car back for the second time and the paint work being right this time.

I have decided to get the rest car re-sprayed to freshen her up.
:)
Even though my car is 19yrs old and Zinnobar red (ZR) it is not pink as it spent 14 yrs of its life garaged every night by the previous owner. But obviously you can still notice the difference slightly.

Anyway I'm going to get the rest of the car re-sprayed plus getting the door handles and mirriors and the black stripe at the bottom done in ZR.

Do you think this will look good or leave the black bits black?

Hopefully after all this it should look the dogs danglys winkeye

Clive

I think the black bits go well with Zinnobar red. Standard look is almost always best in my mind. However, if you were to add a 318is front lip spoiler and colour code it, then it would be wise to colour code the black strip at the bottom along the sides and at the rear. That'll be a very neat finish.

You may have problems getting the reds to match up, unless from the same batch of paint.
Done want to be negative but i've had this on red cars before, red is soooo hard to match up and will show up under street flourescent very easily. The pigmentation of the paint is what i've been told.Check out your current diferences under stret lighting to see what i mean.
