Has anyone on here fitted some powerflex subframe bushes? And what improvments if any did they get from this. Was thinking about changing them now as none of my rear brake lines are connected and i got to take the diff off and other bits back there anyway. Only thing is I don't have a press, will i need one to fit the powerflex bushes? Im sure i can get the old ones out with some burning cutting etc.etc.
Thanks

I put them on my car when the standard ones were shot. As you know they cost a good bit more than standard but won't need doing again (which has gotta be a good thing
)
Once you get the old ones out the Powerflex are easy to fit, I can't say I noticed a vast increase in road noise.

I've not noticed any negative effects either.
And I'm glad I won't have to get standard ones out again!

Yeah that would be helpful if you have any little tricks that make this easier? Haynes manual probably just says, undo bolts, take out bushes, replace bushes bolt back upwould you care to divulge 'the knack' as ive got to do mine soon and not looking forward to it, ive heard too many stories i think!
