I DO!

Ive just sold the touring and im gutted! I got the money i was after.. fair enough but when i saw him pull onto the m6 i watched the new owner in my rear veiw mirror and i thought to myself... you silly c*nt twigg's
Even though i it was sitting on bottle top's it looked good and so agressive!
The new owner is a top man, his name is Henry and he took a 5 hour train drive to pick her up.. I swear fella's this man will look after her. I wont spoil his glory because he has some very nice rims to put on her and im sure he'll be along soon to show you the pictures!
Im so gutted, im e30-less untill tuesday, "I HOPE". However that is one e30 im gonna miss! i loved that car but it had to go to make way for the next project and to pay some household bills etc...

Anyone understand where im coming from and been in my shoes?

You just have to move on!

I've regretted selling my Mini 1275GT (highly modified), Capri 2.8i, mk2 Escort 2litre and I will definately regret selling my Mazda RX7 Twin Turbo soon.

But as you get used to the next car, old ones become good memories (well, bad too sometimes) and experiences.

Once your'e all enthusiastic with the next project it will all be ok!!

sometimes regret starting my sport project.

and ALWAYS ALWAYS DAILY deeply regret selling my dolphin grey 325 to missy30. if she was sensible with the price, i would buy it back, but a grand for a 325i with no tax or MOT, knakered door lock, knakered leccy windows and more rust than when she left me is nuts, even if I do know the car.

EDIT - see sig pic for aforementioned car

I regret not starting with a 325i and working on that, but i have to justify it because i cant afford the insurance. I remember helping you look for the tech 2 kit on that touring, always loved that car.

Agreed with a lot of what has been said I fefinately regret selling my 944 Turbo S 1 of only 2 Black ones in the country and one of about 70 in the country total.

Totally different animal to a standard 944 turbo, I was offered a "name your price" deal and it had only done 800 miles in the last 12 months so common sense came in ??? the guy who bought it dropped a bankers cheque off but could not pick it up for 2 weeks i took the car out for a last run and thought what have you done ?if i had not known him so well i would have sent him the cheque back with a sorry note! at least i know it is being used for what it was built for it has been to Le Mans twice in the last 12 months.

I Wish i had been able to store the mark 1 and 2 RS Escorts i have owned a good one is worth an absolute fortune now,a mate of mine has just sold an unmolested MK2 RS 2000 for nine large ones !!!!

The E30 30 318 Is and Sport(325i) is going to be worth a few quid in a couple of years a good mate of mine who is well into the VW scene and has contacts all over Europe reckons that the interest in E30,s is now starting to rise, especially in Ireland . Also a good investment will be buying popular spares for them for later years as the Ford RS bits are bringing stupid money if you can source them.

You read it here first!!!! wait and see.

If i win the lottery there are a few cars out there I will be buying back.

theyre very reasonable to maintain compaired to others. my old mk2 toyota celica was a money pit.nobody done parts for it so everything had to be bought through the main dealer.£160 for a front wing, over £300 for a door, nearly £600 for 2 front brake calipers  ,bmw are a pleasure in comparison winkeye

Ste,
A proper Turbo S was a cup car only produced for 1 year they were only available in 1 colour at first a pinky silver colour and were referred to as a "silver rose"
Porsche then decided to allow colour options.

Only 70 odd of these cars were bought and registered in the UK they had no sunroofs, different turbos, harder gear clusters massive brakes, fully adjustable Konis, even lighter glass amongst other things.

Rare as hens teeth are you sure you know what you have driven?

There are loads of BM's around these parts with "M" badges on them?

thats the colour boys... its the new black i tell ya :D

its not a touring by the way im after simon, im buying a 4 door. i wanted to get the touring sprayed up calypso red but it would have cost waaaay to much, got quoted over 1k for a "full respray" which isnt actually too bad but i would never be able to justify spending that much to change the colour.
