I know this has been discussed before but i wanted an upto date answer, has any body found a glassbpanel that fits the e30 without sending a million pound on the bmw verison and without major alterations

I think a few people managed to get some from old Saabs or Volvos to fit but so long ago that I think they will be just as hard to get or find and IIRC it is still a huge amount of work for a mediocre result.

Only other thing I have seen work is a full cassette transplant from a modern Mini but having done a couple of cassette swaps in the distant past, that is also not to be underestimated and I din't have the wiring problems you will get with something that modern and canbus.

I have watched a few videos using mini panoramic roof but that might be beyond my skills but a full pan roof looks very good in e30
