Hi guys
This is MY channel, and feel free to tell me it's rubbish - I'm aware it's amateurish as I'm an amateur.... but I basically wanted to do something with my time that involved BMW's and focussing on the ones that I liked, mainly. I have some friends who build cars and i have a couple myself so it is just about documenting what we're doing or what I find is interesting. The channel is only three months old and is evolving and improving with every video and I'll be creating lots of different content in a few different directions over the coming months.
I'm in the middle of producing a series of videos on my mate's E30 convertible which he is putting an S54 engine in that will look better than factory when complete. He's spent years putting the bodywork right, repairing / replacing / refurbing and improving everything along the way..
Anyway - have a look, see what you think. Click the link below:
It would be great if you can be kind in your comments but hey - I know the internet is full of trolls but I just thought you may enjoy some of my content. If you can like / subscribe / hit the bell etc that will all go to help me continue to build something great.
Thanks,
Rich

Thanks mate. Yes - Paw is a mate and lives close to me in North Bristol, we met working together a few years ago. The emphasis of the channel is changing a bit but will still feature great cars with nice people, but not be focussed on one garage doing service maintenance stuff.
So where are you? Would be good to meet up with another E30 guy - and maybe you can get mine started!!!

Some hero 3 with a bit of hero 7 but mainly iPhone 12 for the video elements. I've a Zhiyum gimbal for steady cam stuff and use a Maono condenser microphone for the occasional voiceover.

Good work guys! I know its not as easy as people might think to make videos like this. I was thinking of doing video stuff for getting mine back on the road, but for now a quick write up and a few pics will do. Lived in Bristol 6 years ago, back in Bradford-on-Avon again now, only 45 mins away.

The learning curve I have had in taking videos and then editing, mixing sound, producing graphics etc - it's hard! My 23 year old daughter has given me pointers but the first few 5 minute videos i made each one took around 4 hours to get the footage and then about 10 hours each to edit them down to 5 minutes... ouch!
But I enjoy it, and hopefully you can see with each video I am actually improving!!
You're not far away - I'll happily take charge / help out in arranging a Zone south west meet when we are able

Good on you for putting in the effort. It's awesome to see e30 creation. I've often thought of making videos (not always e30 related) and the process is daunting as hell! Huge amount of work stick with it!

My content won't be all E30 related, I did start it as a BMW channel (hence the name) but I'm just going to put up stuff around cars that I find interesting and hope they remain interesting for viewers too. Maybe start a new "Zoner's Car" feature

Will look to do another soon!boxclever1753 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 7:00 pmThanks mate!MrBenn wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 6:55 pmGood work guys! I ditched my personal account on FB two years ago but keep a different named account (so no-one can search me) just for car stuff and to be able to use Marketplace... nothing more. Am sure we'll share it here tooMrBenn wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 7:40 pmI have finally got rid of facebook but if I ever get this thing going again would love to go to a meet, perhaps it could also be shared on here too?BristolE30 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 7:00 pm
