Had my car for 10 years now trying to bring it back to life. I want to put a new clutch in. it is a 318i cab.
how much should I be paying for a new one? and what is the best clutch to go for. not looking for a sports clutch or anything like that.

I would opt for an OEM BMW/Sachs clutch. Cost would depend on whether you buy from the stealer, or find one on an online auction site, autojumble or similar. You may even get lucky down at your local motor factors...
