Good to hear your perspective Steve and yes Brian and Modfather Steve are doing a sterling job. Hats off to them. Will be interesting with the revamp of the zone.net and the photo storage/uploading application, will make life a lot easier for all and will remove the photobucket issue, even though the photobucket photos are lost (unless one pays the ransom), and we can slowly build back up the photo history. Thanks for constructive comments.

like most on here i love this place, the wealth of knowledge is 2nd to none (i'm looking at you mr moooooorrrrreeee )

at times it does my box in (must be doing something right) but i always come back for more.

as for the "new" zone, really looking forward to the launch, as for direct photo hosting?? watch out for plenty of pics of my scrap

one of these days i'll make a donation to the up keep but the sport keep mugging me on payday one day though........................

FB is responsible for the demise of another car forum dear to me, the youngsters seem to want immediate answers, however useless, and repeated each day.

Another is going strong, with no FB presence (Snowheads). Progress ain't all it's cracked up to be - just look at the cars

Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere, but do you guys think the addition of a 'like' button would help the forums popularity a bit? It seems to have appeared on many other forums and does give a little encouragement knowing that people have seen and are interested in your post. As the reader, its not as good as contributing a reply, but offers something.

PS. I wouldn't have got an e30 if I hadn't joined this forum, definitely wouldn't have figured out how to fix it either, & I hate fakebook, so still check here regularly for a read.

joined a few years ago.. probably more of a zone stalker... I don't check in daily but I probably once a week minimum...

I need to do more posting. the Zone helped me turn my m40b16 auto into a m52b28 manual.

Its 99% finished in its latest transformation to an s50B32.

I need to be making a build thread to help with the posts...

I hope the forums keep going as FB is far from a good source of info, just passing BS.

I build my car for myself really but it would be crap if the zone would disappear..

Admittedly I do not post much but check it daily.
I've had my motor 9 years and I cannot tell you how much this site has helped me.
I will be posting a resto thread soon as it's in the capables of a well known zoner. Whom I wouldn't have found without this place.
Had invaluable advice of Mr Moore and the likes over the years and bought several bits for my car.
Rarely go on facebook full stop, never go on the zone page, I only go on here, facebook has too much crap on.
The right side of 50 with a few years in my back pocket.

I am looking forward to getting back in it ... It's been 3 years off the road.

Had it not been for the Zone, I probably wouldn't have kept mine so long. My Touring had 110,000k added to the clock in my ownership.
