Have you googled it ? Owners name is Boyd Beattie. I have dealt with him on a number of occasions FTF with no issues but remote buyers, in some cases, haven't done so well.

He certainly has been mentioned on here a few times, mostly late or non existent delivery of the parts you order off him. He usually gives an excuse in the first instance and then radio silence, but some people have had perfectly good service from him.

I wouldn't be putting what you have on a forum, not until it's resolved, especially a forum he uses
My personal dealing with Boyd are fine, I pad for parts and I got them as described and in good time

as ross says, get on to the small claims court,
the only problem i can see is this, did you have a signed contract with him to carry out the work??
might sound like overkill to some but when they £1K+ involved then it pays to have a contract, if you do end up going to small claims (judge rinder for the day out/5mins of fame?) then the only real proof you'll have is any emails between the two of you mentioning & agreeing the amounts to be paid & when.
good luck, keep your cool.

I'm in much the same position with my car too, although with a different company. Work has been done, but it's awful, and now there's excuses and cancelled bookings to get it fixed. (It was booked in, (without anyone being told to be around on the Saturday to receive it), on the week that their paint guy was off on a foreign holiday, for example.)
As tempting as it is to rant and moan, I'd be careful about posting, and would look to remove those comments if it were me.
Once it's all sorted, then is the time to leave the review.

Taken all posts down - despite what you may think about airing dirty washing in public I was acting in faith others on here so they don't make the same mistake or fall into the same trap! Doesn't matter if it's a business no way on earth should anyone have to go through what I have been through when all I wanted was to make my dream car a finished reality- I work damn hard and make real sacrifices to achieve things and I cannot allow someone to walk all over me! I came from nothing - so don't take to kindly to being treated like this.
Thank you most appreciatedsteve_k wrote:as ross says, get on to the small claims court,
