What is the deal with those yellow tint headlights some e30s have?
Were they a factory fitted option? If not, what inspired them? Where did they come from?
I'm an all original junkie but if BMW had anything to do with them, I might be inclined to purchase a pair for my 325i more door.
Cheers
Nik

Every E30 sold in France had them. Until 1993, all car headlamps in France had to be yellow.

During the war, some Gallic genius had a bright idea, he suggested that if all the French painted their lights yellow, when non yellow lights appeared, it must be the German pig dogs. Like all French great ideas, this one was fatally flawed and soon all the Germans had yellow lights !
Many years later some sad dubscum fuktard decided he wanted to express his individuality and tinted his lights yellow. Within weeks dubscum worldwide had yellow lights and now the E30 coilover council crew are on the bandwagon, innit

Get some tint film. You'll need your money for the coiloverz/ sumpz
I tried these and at first thought they were really good but did fall out with them.
