Finally did it.....full brand new OEM BMW exhaust fitted to the convertible is this years upgrade. Gives a straight six the creamy smooth sound it deserves just in time for summer. Performance seems better as well but that might just be compared with an old rusty broken exhaust with holes in the wrong places.

Great call! I LOVE mine....I think around £400 from dealer but depends how much of it you go for....I think rear muffler around £250+ and centre section just under £200. I could be way out though

yuup now that is a good call, been thinking of doing this myself for a long time, but the prices of bmw parts has put me off even finding out, how much it cost you? did you get an option of what style tail pipes you wanted...

3 parts - 2 x Mufflers @ 250 each plus about 120 for the third part, add in all the bits and pieces - end pipes etc and comes in over 700. All ordered through local dealership - some parts had to be shipped from Germany.

Why have you got black exhaust trim not the standard chrome trim ?

Thought about chrome but the metal bumpers are painted and the trim is all black so just thought chrome end pipes might look out of place. Might revisit that decision as it's easy enough to swap.
