Whatever you do, get the right season rating. If you want winter only, make sure you dont use it in strong sunlight. I found out to my cost that a £150 3 season cover will fall apart after a year of u/v exposure. When the manufacturer says its for certain conditions, believe them, it is.
make sure its guaranteed breathable also. I have a stop-gap £50 special and it sweats like a very hot pig. Its caused my paintwork to blister due to the trapped moisture freezing against the paint.
Tip.. leave it open to the elements and give it a wash. Covers can be the kiss of death..
