That definitely looks mental and uber sexy

I've seen it done to quite a few Tourings, so it's possible, but I would guess there's tons of work involved for the rear arches/doors.

I though that name was a dirty word in bmw circles.
There is a red one built a long time ago that is far better in there of workmanship.

Vlad. Renowned con-artist and bodge merchant, who built an M3 Touring in that colour blue. The car looks beautiful, but the guy's a nobber.

I would imagine a fibreglass kit would be a pain to bond onto a touring properly, and be able to witstant the opening and closing of the rear doors, plus you're going to have to box in the massive holes you'd see between arch and door skin when the door was opened, and work out how you're going to do the dogleg around the arch.
some of the finished ones out there look amazing, but i bet there are lots that get scrapped half way through.
cheers,
harry

There's a guy I know over here that's building a full metal body one from a bare sell resto and sticking an S62 up front with Z3m rear axle
It should be quite nice when finished

Indeed, in most cases, a lot less than the build costs !
