I didnt get that good a finish :(

it took me an age to polish the fake center nut aswell, and i need to find the original center badges and they are hard to find.

I think they looked better before, showed the style/design of the wheel more, sorry :o:

But they were a bugger to clean winkeye

I may take the front of the spokes off but not for a while, i have extreame adha and preping/painting wheels is not my thing :)

I wouldn't have the patience to do it, pay someone else to do it instead :)

i didnt have the patience , i have three more to do :(

On another note does anyone know anything about these wheels?
Only info i got is they are msw and were on the rare mazda mx5 le200.

HAHA same here, did one can't be fooked to do the rest. so now this is my spare wheel.

I polished the lips and sprayed the centres rover storm grey (metallic and looks amazing)

That one wheel took forever to do and just wasn't worth the small price that dips charges and his work is second to none

if the car was mint maybe, but its just a little project till i get enough of my finances together to buy me a chromie convertable :P

how did you strip the paint? standard nitromoors/ stripper, ive got a set of bbs in black with flaking paint need to sort them out and strip it down to silver

I didnt :mad: I just really fine sanded the outside rim and polished the poo out of it and sanded the inside of the wheel even then etch primered and 6 coats of black,

I do have a home made sandblaster i made out of an old paint gun i use for stripping :)
