Short term insurance

Hi guys,

Anyone know any good/cheap places for short term (1-2 month) insurance policies?

My insurance runs out this weekend but MOT and tax lasts till June. Had been planning to run it till then by taking out a short term insurance policy or renewing mine and then just cancelling after 1-2 months but both of which seem to be a lot more expensive than thought.

HIC insurance estimated the cost to be around £120-150 for just 1 month! Whilst the guys I'm with (Adrian Flux) are telling me the cost to cancel after 2 months would basically cost me more through cancellation fees!

Am tempted to just declare SORN (so I can save up to get it resprayed) this weekend or just insure it for the year as normal.

ecar.com do a pay as you go, generally no ones going to insure you for 1 month for £20-30 etc, all will probably be a ton odd

Got quoted over £1k for 28 days insurance?!!! Guessing it might be because I listed some mods but none of which would really warrant £1k for the year let alone 1 month!lol

Any other suggestions for 1 month's worth of insurance?

Short term insurance just isn't worth it for the companies, even a couple of days is expensive. You'll have to just get a full policy or SORN it tbh.
