I've just come into a set cheaply, the basics are they're 15x7.5 ET40 & the 5x120 so I'm think a set of ~20mm thick adaptors and call it good!

But then I spotted this: Somebody on eBay clearly thinks they're worth Quite A Bit : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281077489535

And this guy agrees (I think he does anyway, my Germany is a tad rusty) : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261178807349

I found a completed listing from December (Which I can't find atm) where a set of 4 sold for £265, which seems a little more sane to me!

So, what do the experts on E30Zone think they're worth? And do I stick them on my car (because they're worth ~50p) or straight on UK or Germany eBay (because they're worth a mint) ?

P.S. Yes there is another thread but it doesn't really contain any useful information on their value and is 3 years old at any rate (Link here for anyone interested: http://e30zone.net/modules.php?name=For ... c&t=157818 )

16" are worth good money for sure.

Edit: just notiiced who the seller is on one of those auctions. He knows his stuff and the rest of hs ebay stuff is priced about right so they may well be about right..

Advertise them on an e21 site. They will fetch a good return.

Not much good for an e21 (all 4stud), not many people who are likely to pay big ££ for a set of genuine Alpina's will be prepared to then fit a set of 4 to 5 stud adaptors!
They are quite rare nowadays, but i doubt they will shift quickly unless they are a bargain. Lots of stuff on ebay are advertised with big price tag but do not sell. They will suit an older 5/7 series or maybe an E9, they are a classic genuine wheel and will therefore have value and will sell, how much for? I don't know.

Ah yes your right simon, looking now on a large screen (above post on smart phone) they are not as old as made to look.
The original Alpina,s were painted black centers (which these are made to look like) the originals had a softer profile edge too. As said E36 wheel

Providing they're straight it would be £550 minimum. I think they look great but there's one set of E30 wheels that look better... Lol

I had a set of 7.5x15 Alpinas that were on an E34 that I discovered were offered by alpina back in the day for mounting winter tyres on for E28s etc. So not the same as yours, but correct offset for E9s and things like that. Took forever to sell and I only got about £250 odd for them via EBay. Had they been 16s then I'm sure I would have got a good bit more.

Why don't you try an E36 forum to sell yours?

Without caps, they're worth perhaps 150 quid. They only fit the E36, and nobody wants 15 inch wheels on one of those. An Ebay advert will quickly establish their value!
